At last year’s CES show in Vegas (’06) DirecTV was featuring the killer home system that seems to have been able to do a lot of what you are asking for in this post. And considering you are already using DTV, how convenient would that be?

After a quick search at Google and at DirecTV’s site, I’m not seeing any mention of this system. Guess they didn’t release it yet :’(

Right now I’ve got a Vista Ultimate PC acting as my MCE box with only one 360 and it works OK, mainly because of my so so wireless connection between the two.

For TiVo 30 second skip…http://www.weaknees.com/30/. It’s an easter egg.
